Major Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Power In Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
Ukraine's power facilities have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and faced interruptions to drinking water, per reports from local authorities.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, based on information from local officials.

Moscow has intensified strikes on power infrastructure over the past few days, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but decisive action - from the America, the EU and the G7 - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.
