The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
